Red - Chapter 1Nick exhales sharply, fine white mist leaving his lips.Red - Chapter 1 by SkyLark34
She's supposed to be here by now.
Car tires squeal behind him, and he jumps back, fingers already tightening on his gun. A sleek white Mercedes skids to a halt neatly behind him, taking up about half the deserted old road. Nick takes a quick note of the car plate numbers before walking up briskly to the car.
The car windows scroll down, revealing the Hexenbiest in human form, of course. She grins at the Grimm like they were old friends having tea together.
"Adelind." Nick's hand is twitching towards his gun, and he's not too entirely sure that's a bad thing. She wasn't going to get away, not this time. Not after almost blowing up Wu and Hank. "Why did you call me."
"Must you be so serious?" Adelind said almost whiningly. "Why don't we find a nice place to talk-"
Adelind's smile drops as suddenly as it came. "I see. No beating around the bush. Fine then, Detective Burkhardt. I want the key."
"You won't get the k

It had been a small week now since the Spinnetod had attacked me. The scratches on my arms were already healed and the wound in my neck was starting to heal too, though it still would take atleast a week before the band-aid could go off.
In the meantime I also moved in with Nick and Juliette. I stayed for the moment in one of the two guestrooms that were left since the third had been painted in three diffrent shades of purple only yesterday. Next week the new furniture would arrive and then I could start unpacking. Of course I had insisted on paying the remodeling of my new bedroom since Nick and Juliette refused to let me pay rent or anything like that.
For the moment I was sitting in the car with Nick. He was driving while I was gazing out the window. "Where are we going?"I wanted to know. "Musicschool."he replied. "Why?"was my next question. "I have to take care of some business there."Nick pointed out. "Plus I want to introduce you to someone.". I r

I watched how a group of nurses and a doctor rushed the stretcher with on it the mysterious teenage Grimm who's name I still didn't knew, to the emergency room. Being that I was a cop they didn't really ask that much questions. For the moment the story was that I had found the girl in the woods running away from a woman who wanted to hurt her. The body of the Spinnetod came in handy by using that story and the case got quickly sorted as 'self defense'.
"Damn..."Monroe whispered as the two of us were left alone in the hallway that leaded to the emergency room. "You do realise who that was, right?". "Actually, I didn't really catch her name."I admitted.
"Dude! That's Zara Adams!"Monroe told me. "She comes out a pure bloodline of Grimms and is also the youngest Grimm ever. She got trained from day one.". "And why do you know her?"I wanted to know. "Because she's know for her kills."he replied. "When she was 11, she killed her first Grimm Reaper. Though I m

Roddy curled into himself as the cannons sounded over head. He wasn’t supposed to be anywhere near the field. This spot was secured and for authorized personnel only. As soon as the cannons let up, he started running. He hopped the fence and kept running to freedom on the other side.
Just a few more feet. Roddy cleared the forest and his feet hit asphalt. His sneakers pounded the ground and his breaths became labored. The adrenaline from the narrow escape barely registered in his blood stream.
A scratching sound came from his pocket. He reached in with a gloved hand to be sure his cargo was safe.
“You better be worth it,” he whispered to one in particular.
Roddy ignored the sounds coming from the flat upstairs until it became too much. He grabbed the nearby broom and started banging on the ceiling.
“Oi, Keep it down! We’re still
